Visualizing Escape From Katrina

“American Diaspora” (by epodunk.com) is a visualization of the places people went to in order to escape from hurricane Katrina. Epodunk processed about 40.000 forum messages from people telling where they got.

In my humble opinion: Nice start, could very well suit some dynamic labelling, zooming and easily could reflect the quantity of how many people travelled where.
